Huggies is a brand name producing disposable diaper and was marketed by the Kimberly-Clark. The Huggies brand name has been used for its traditional baby diaper. Apart from that it also sells several forms of diapers. Huggies also sells "Pull-Ups" training pants and "Goodnites". It also promotes a line of disposable swimtrunks known as "Little Swimmers." It was in 1968 that Huggies was first test marketed. In the year 1978, Huggies was first introduced, replacing Kimbies. In 1989, Huggies Pull-Ups were first introduced. By the end of that year, all Huggies nappies became gender-specific. By 1992 the Huggies Ultratrims were first introduced, which were very leaner than before.
In 1993 the Huggies Supremes were also introduced which were made like clothes. The Kimberly-Clark introduced Goodnites in 1994. In the year 1996 Huggies Overnites were brought into the market. In 1997, the Huggies Ultratrim introduced a cloth-like outer cover. In the year 1998 the Size 6 and little swimmers were introduced. Year 2004 faced a slowdown in production because of lack of superabsorbent. In the year 2006 Gentle Care and Natural Fit were introduced by the Huggies.
