As a girl reaches the age of puberty she needs to undergo a number of changes inside her body. This also influences her mental and physical growth, ability to enjoy sex and capability to bear child. The menstrual period that starts during this time is also controlled by some of the hormones inside her body. Female Sex Hormones help the girl enjoying sex. There are certain pregnancy hormones that help the pregnant mother remaining healthy during the time of pregnancy. Prolactin is such a hormone that keeps the nerve of the mother healthy. Imbalance in the female hormone can cause different other diseases in the body of pregnant mother. Human Chronic Gonadotropin is a hormone that is responsible for the growth of the breast cells.

Imbalance in the female hormones can lead to serious illness like, intracerebral hemorrhage. After Menopause certain kinds of harmonic changes take place inside human body. This can cause osteoporosis and lead to serious mental problems. Women need to take care of their physical health prior to the time they reach the age of menopause. During the post menopause time they need to take extra care of their health. At that time they need to consume more food and medicines having calcium and other nutrients that help to keep their bone strong.
