Pain relievers like aspirin, Motrin, Advil, acetaminophen are recommended for Chronic Pelvic Pain. Antibiotics and hormonal treartment are also prescribed for pelvic pain. Antidepressants such as nortriptyline, amitriptyline are very effective. Doctors often advise physical therapy and counselling for treattent of chronic pelvic pain. In extreme cases the patients have to undergo surgery.
