Pregnancy in 36th week

Pregnancy in 36th week is a very important phase in your cycle of pregnancy as it is the time for your baby to put on at least one ounce a day and to increase in weight. But, there is a very little possibility of your feeling of any extra weight gain. Instead, you will feel like having no room left so that your baby can grow. You can also feel tired of feeling so big and full. But you should not get impatient and remember that as long as your baby stays in that protective environment, is better for it. It should be kept in that protective environment till its delivery is due.

Pregnancy in 36th week may make you experience an increase in the amount of Braxton Hicks contractions. The Braxton Hicks contractions are followed by the labor pain. Several ladies say that they feel a false alarm during this time that is actually a false labor. Now your baby has grown to have a measure between sixteen to nineteen inches in length and 5 ¾ inches to 6 ¾ pounds in weight.

During Pregnancy in 36th week your baby also, has undergone some change. The fine downy hair with which the body of your baby was covered has begun to disappear along with the vernix caseosa. This is basically a thick and creamy substance that was present in order to protect the skin of your baby when it was submerged in amniotic fluid. Your baby will swallow both of these along with the additional amniotic fluid. All of these will combine inside the body of your baby in order to form meconium that is the first bowel system of your baby.

The ideal position for your baby during Pregnancy in 36th week is the head down position. But in case it is yet to attain this position, you should not get panicked. Consult your physician in case the baby is not in head down position even by the next week. It is the time when you should feel tension free and start your packing for hospital. Try to keep some essential items handy as you pack for your delivery.

During Pregnancy in 36th week you must be careful to choose your outfit. You can comfortably try those outfits that you used at the time when you were pregnant by six months. You may also start using a nursing dress at the time of sleeping in case you feel uncomfortable.
