A Tubal Baby is one who settles down for gestation in the fallopian tube. Unlike the uterus the fallopian tube of a lady is far slimmers and has little space for the growth of the embryo. Many a times a case of a Tubal Baby is often confused with a miscarriage, or early stage of normal pregnancy. Till now, no specific cause has been identified as responsible for ectopic pregnancy. But extensive study and research on pregnant women have shown that those pregnant ladies who have been regular smokers or drinkers have a greater chance of producing a Tubal Baby. A normal egg generally takes nine days to travel long the fallopian tube to the uterus. A late pregnancy or prior tubal damage can further increase the chances of having a Tubal Baby.
