Implantation Bleeding

Implantation bleeding is one of the early signs and symptoms of pregnancy. Implantation bleeding is the blood that is discharged by the vagina. It does not look like the usual blood that is discharged during the menstruation period. It is a light pink or a brown colored blood. Even though Implantation bleeding is one of the easiest ways of detecting pregnancy, it is not experienced by all pregnant women. It has been estimated only a third of the would-be mothers experience this symptom. Implantation bleeding happens when the fertilized egg is implanted in the uterus. It can be said it occurs within 6 to 12 days after the process of ovulation.

Implantation bleeding is nothing but just a part of the pregnancy symptoms and is the last thing which should keep you worried. However Implantation bleeding becomes quite a discomfort and needs immediate consultation with the doctor when it is accompanied by cramps, backaches there is extra discharge of blood. To confirm your pregnancy you can go for the easy home pregnancy detection tests. One of the popular and the easiest tests is the checking the amount of Human Chorionic Gonadotropin contained in your urine.

The Gonadotropin hormone is secreted by the placenta which is followed by the implantation of the fertilized egg in the lining of the uterus.

If you are pregnant the amount of Human Chorionic Gonadotropin shown in your system will be around 25 mIU at 10 dpo or days past ovulation or 50 mIU at 12 dpo or 100 mIU at around 2 weeks past dpo. The implantation bleeding pregnancy signs are mostly experienced in the early days of pregnancy. You will identify implantation bleeding during pregnancy when there will be mild bleeding just before the arrival of your usual period time. This is when the fertilized egg attaches to the uterine wall.
